Industrial designer James Patmore apparently found plenty of inspiration in the crystalline forms found in nature at the micro level.  His NaCl Pendant Light is inspired by the very common chemical compound- salt. This wild, geometrically modular lamp won’t provide a lot of light, but it will be a brilliant center piece to your modern living room– and a conversation starter in itself.
