Pretty guest house
Hidden away in the midst of meadows and woods, this pretty, traditional, Campines farmhouse has just been very tastefully restored.
For the owner is an interior designer and has his office and show-room in the building. The house is a long, low building, topped with a red-tile roof. On the courtyard side, the walls are brick, on the garden side they are half-timbered. The delightful decor will charm you as soon as you enter. The beautiful dining room is where breakfast is served on a large table, looking out through French windows to the garden. The lounge has a beautiful oak floor, and open fireplace and contemporary-style furniture. Its atmosphere is heightened by the delightful little square-paned traditional-style windows. The three staircases each lead up to a guest bedroom, each with a different lay-out and different colour schemes and en-suite bathrooms, but each containing a selection of Irish mineral waters, plus towels, robes and bodycare products in the bathrooms. A small annexe is in the process of being converted to a fourth guest room. The house also benefits from its position on the banks of a pretty stream, along which runs a waymarked cycle path linked to the regional network, plus several footpaths. A superb spot to recharge your batteries in the peace and quiet of the countryside. via
