New project by Vrtiska & Zak
On the beginning of this year, a new dental center Esthe Dent was opened. Interior is designed by the designers duo Vrtiska & Zak.
The space is located in a historical building, in an old Kolowrat palace, Na Příkopě street, in Prague 1. The main goal was to divide a small space into three separated surgery rooms, X-Ray, staff room and a small waiting room. Overall color conception of Esthé Dent is based on mainly neutral colors and light tones with a yellow color accent. This yellow color is a result of a fact, that the space is in a basement and the only available daylight source are huge glass covered openings in the ceiling. The yellow glass partiotions are also a central point of a waiting room and two surgery rooms.
With an aplication of the yellow transparent color, we have reached a much lighter and more positive character of a space and what was very important for us, to bring a strong graphical element here, working also as a natural visual barrier in between the visitors and a surgery room. In case of a need, being centrally controlled window blinds can be used.
A surgery rooms are equipped with the newest technologies and facilities, together with Corian and glass custom made furniture, designed and made to measure for Esthé Dent. RGB remote controlled lights above a chair are a part of an equipment. The guests can change an atmosphere based on their contemporary mood. The Stakohome solution was selected as an overall control of a dental center. It combines a control systems Teco Foxtrot and Control 4. Both devices allows you to feel more comfortable once being on the dentist visit. Music and movies database and Wi-Fi connection are a new sense of a dental clinic of these days. via
