Dutch firm laura alvarez architecture has completed the renovation and interior design of a two-floor apartment in Amsterdam. The building is catalogued as a national monument. Architect Alvarez says: The main idea was to transform the dark and claustrophobic existing apartment into a bright loft and at the same time bring into view special elements of the ancient building.
Surrounded by lush greenery, apartment with space to breathe and quietude for the soul. Like others built in its era, Brookvale Park combine both a stroke of practicality in its economy of scale, whilst maintaining sensitivity to the spatial proportions and distances that is required for its inhabitants to live life without the intrusive pressures of urbanity.
The apartment of 145 m² by Studio Guilherme Torres. The couple was displeased with the environment arrangements and the traditional decoration, so they gave the architect free hand to reformulate everything.
The idea behind the creation of the Pbox eatery was quite simple: a place where you can relax and enjoy good food. A place inspired from New York’s delis, a meeting point where the visitor can enjoy delicious dishes anytime of the day.
