From the new collection Memento by Italian designer Emanuele Canova, we loved this beautiful sofa called “Bucefalo” inspired by the legendary black horse of Alexander the Great. Light, airy and quite comfortable, it offers storage space for books and can be used both as a sofa or chair.
This is a textile design combining wool- and thermoplastic yarns witch makes the fabric booth stiff as a composite and soft at the same time. To show possible usage of the fabric SHE Design Studio have designed two seating objects, a lounge chair and a pouf. The lounge chair illustrates the horizontal usage while the pouf illustrates vertical usage of the fabric.

One Step Up is a bookcase that combines form, material and function in a simple and chaste design. Francis Cayouette has been inspired by the ladder as object and he has created a new flexible piece of furniture ideal for storage. Francis Cayouette has used recognizable elements taken from the form of the ladder and incorporated its mobile attributes. Details such as the fittings are emphasized and bring authenticity to the object. The natural ash wood and the industrial metal shelves create dynamic and the exquisite materials work great together and create a complete expression.
