At next year’s Maison & Objet in Paris, scheduled from January 21st – 25th, 2011 the Italian ceramist Paola Paronetto will present her newest creations as part of ‘Scènes d’intérieur’ section – amongst them these beautiful paper clay objects.
In the selected paintings, Maki Na Kamura traces a connection to Jean-Francois Millet, who tried to remove the content from classical landscapes.

The Austrian designer Manfred Kielnhofer imagine the “Light Guards, sculptural lamp-like fabric draped silhouettes. Enigmatic nature and size, among religious figures and phantoms, those strange lights outside are made of polyester and equipped of energy saving lamps.
Each piece of art is individually created based on a person’s astrological birth chart, and the canvases can be appreciated both as graphic works of art as well as for their meaning. For the astrologically inexperienced, each portrait includes a detailed report explaining all the planets and signs shown in the work. The portraits are printed on environmentally friendly canvas in over 30 color options, each available in 8 sizes, so the resulting artwork is truly unique.
