Situated in one of the best shoppingmalls in the city centre, L’Illa Diagonal, the new flagship from Lurdes Bergada is divided into two clearly defined areas linking technical aspects of a clothing store behind a “wooden skin” and keeping clothes as the main focus.
Bridging the gap between the historic facade and the new interior space within, Aidlin Darling designed Wexler’s barbeque restaurant with an incredible undulating ceiling that is evocative of both charred wood and a plume of smoke.

Untraditional mention to Sicily are the strengths of this project that brings a piece of the island into San Salvario district. The shop is conceived as a bright and cosy space, where quality and tastes find their proper place. Interior design is the direct consequence of a deeper reflection upon mood and colours. Furnitures are all designed on purpose with essential lines and colours -no gloss white, MDF, natural wood and varnished metal shelves.
