Marise Maas is a Melbourne-based artist whose beautiful paintings explore what she calls the ‘remarkable mundane’. Her work takes inspiration from ordinary and everyday things, because ‘if you look closely at the smaller detail, you find bigger stories’.
Danish company Vipp together with the designer Anne Mette Kissow created a seven-piece ceramic collection. The series is also characterized by soft shapes, each piece is hand-made porcelain, water-polished by hand.
Project of a summer house built of concrete. The weather was a factor when building the project, given the conditions of this area of the sea coast and this particular batch.
Interior that embraces a multitude of textures, materials and hues by Neometro. Glass reinforced concrete screens shield the building and nod to the site’s past with their supersized, mesh-like shape. Concrete ceilings complement parquetry floors in the living room.
Completed in 2011, contemporary home is located in Chelsea, New York City, designed by Archi-Tectonics studio.
