The Soft Bowls series is part of the Still Life project by Kristine Five Melvær. The series consists of two bowls. One bowl looks like an inverted version of the other. Together they tell the story of a changing shape.
The Round Table, available not only in the round version, relates to the grand ‘Arthurian Round Table’ where all of the guests were equals. Its glass top is wide enough to allow for comfortable dining, but not for opinionated grand gestures.
Called Rhubarb, the lamps are made from folded polypropylene and fan outwards from their bases, creating a cluster of precise but organic forms when positioned together.
