Bat Eye Art & Design, a sideboard inspired by the silhouette of the city of Porto and the colors and textures of Portugal. Bat Eye collection were presented to the public in international event Decorex in 2011.
Inspired by the human form, the beautiful Klassiker lounge chair was designed to comfortably hug both the back and bottom of the seated person. A polished oil finish and high back make it an elegant choice for classic and contemporary rooms alike.
The collaboration between Benjamin Hubert and De La Espada presented the opportunity to develop a range of interior products utilising the skills and knowledge of artisan craftsmen, affording fewer compromises than more industrialised projects.
It would seem that house k+jc was destined to be what it is today. The owners, a young couple with two daughters, were looking for a spacious place, full of natural light, with a garden and open spaces. The design concepts were simple:
“Just Fold It” is flexible, easy to assemble and disassemble, and the individual models fold compact making them convenient to store or transport. The length of the screen can be adjusted by adding or subtracting the number of modules. Perforations on the surface increase stability by counteracting wind resistance in addition to varying the porosity which creates a nice visual effect that varies depending on the angle and distance from which it is viewed.
