Bonaldo’s sofas and beds

May 3, 2013 Furniture Design

Bonaldo’s sofa production began many years ago with sofa beds, the strength of which lies in their functionality and in their young and informal design. The collection, which was subsequently extended with important sofas, can now accommodate all tastes and requirements.
There are plenty of excellent results of Bonaldo’s research in this field. Two examples stand out: the Papillon sofa bed, an absolute best -seller re-launched in a limited edition in 2011, and Pierrot, which has won a number of awards and accolades.
For the 2013 edition of the Salone del Mobile furniture show, Bonaldo presents two modular sofas designed by Giuseppe Viganò and Mauro Lipparini, which, thanks to the sophisticated elements used to put them together, stand out for their versatility.

A broad range of models and opportunities to customise one of the most intimate and personal items in any home: the bed. Bonaldo’s painstaking care for details in the production of beds is especially apparent in the large selection of covers, which is extended every year according to the latest trends in materials and fabrics: thorough research which assesses and incorporates trends from the world of furniture, design and more generally lifestyles. Three new products will be presented in 2013: Eureka by Giuseppe Viganò, who has already designed a number of beds for Bonaldo; Contrast Bed by Alain Gilles, who this year expresses his skill in his first bed designed for Bonaldo; Joe by Mauro Lipparini, a collaboration which has been consolidated over the years.
