Korean design office M4 designed the ‘HoHum‘, a tagine cuisine restaurant in Seoul. Tagine is well-being fusion cuisine which applies Morocco’s traditional tagine low-moisture recipe modernly, not very well known in South Korea. The word ‘Hohum’ evokes an image of ‘breath‘, and visualizing ‘breath’ was the beginning of the design for Hohum. M4 has endeavored to reproduce the moving of the clouds while the wind circulates inside and outside by installing diffusers on the ceiling towards clouds shaped fabric. The white interior and wooden furniture are contrasted to black typography on the walls, which explains the Tagine dishes.
